For fun, I drew one of my characters, Ida Osten. I was trying to make her frame look more balanced and accurate. Overall, I’m happy with it. Enjoy!

When I was cruising the Internet, I came across a photo of this house in Cambridge (am not sure where) and decided to draw it. I accidentally made it look haunted, which is not how it comes across in the photo. Oh well.
My mother challenged me to write a story with 55 words or less, using prompts from the lovely Nanofiction game. Here is my experiment. Enjoy!
Bad Day:
Beatnik Coffeehouse–I’m gonna make my mark today. I grasp my gun, and I get ready to draw and make everybody get on their knees. Then, horror of horrors, I trip and fall. No one even turns. Mortified, I slink out and head home.
(For those familiar with this, my setting is the Beatnik CoffeeHouse, my who is the guy nobody notices, my conflict is botched robbery attempt, and my resolution is going back to his usual day.)
So, my calendar this year is of castles. I decided to sketch this month’s image, which is a gorgeous picture of Aigle Castle, located in Switzerland. It is a gorgeous image, and I very much want to go to see castles. Enjoy the image! I am hoping to update this blog more in 2013. Cheers!
