Puck
25 06 2015It’s been awhile since I posted any drawings here! Here is Puck, who appeared in The Yard Sale. I would like to do another story featuring her at some point. Anyways, I’m pretty happy in terms of the art here; I have been working on drawing different body types, and I think it’s finally starting to pay off. Plus, Puck has a totally rad haircut.

Brother and Sister
8 02 2014Here is a sketch of Ida from my story The Armen with her brother, Christian [Chri for short. It’s pronounced “Cry”]. It’s my first time drawing Chri, so I’ll likely tweak his design and get better drawing him.

People on the Subway
17 11 2013Some sketches I did during one subway trip–I had a lot of fun trying to draw from life! Drawing a back view of someone was especially challenging.

The Crew
3 09 2012Previously, I posted a drawing of the three Armen strutting their stuff. Naturally, I decided that a follow-up drawing of the main cast, minus Aislin. So, from top center and clockwise: Ichabod Maluk, Mozo al Kiakken, Taz Catgut, and Ammo Sierkson (with mook).
I worked from several photo references and overall am pretty happy with the poses. The composition got a little cramped, but not too badly. I am particularly proud of Ichabod, whose pose I based on a boxer. It’s so cool to finally draw Ichabod and the others in color! Mozo continues to be a challenge, but I think this one was a bit better.
